BEYOND: TWO SOULS

Beyond: Two Souls is an upcoming video game for Playstation 3 set to release on October 8th,2013. Although the game will not actually be released for several months, the genius development by Quantic Dream is certainly something worth discussing. Starring Willem Dafoe and Ellen Page , Beyond : Two Souls beautifully merges gaming and film into one.

Featuring psychological ; spiritual and thriller elements the game is primarily focused on what happens after you die. Jodie Holmes the main character ( played by Ellen Page) goes through 15 years of her life through the game in order to discover the meaning behind the entity Aiden.

With a 2000 page script and a Tribeca Film Festival screening, I predict Beyond : Two Souls will have a serious impact on the gaming and film world. Peep the trailer below.

The Haoca looks like a factory building, but it is actually a gadget made out of wood designed to read SD cards. I love this product for two reasons, one of course being that connects to your computer and reads all your SD cards, the other reason being that it is a luxurious design and incredibly visually appealing.

PARTYNEXTDOOR, is the ultra mysterious unconfirmed newest addition to October’s Very Own hailing from Mississauga. We know next to nothing about PARTYNEXTDOOR, even the tiniest almost seemingly insignificant questions like ” Is his name only his name if its written in caps with no spaces?” Or “Can we call him Party or Next for short?” We don’t even have answers for.

Everyone has been very tight lipped about him, which I love because it allows the music to speak for itself. Just a few hours ago he dropped his newest single entitled “Wus Good/Curious” and its incredible.

ENDERS GAME

Well, Its about that time. Summer is pretty much here and thats always when Hollywood starts hitting us up with some real bangers. Every Friday I am going to try and share some movies that I like and think you should check out this summer. Todays Pick is Enders Game.

Enders Game is based on the 1985 science fiction novel of the same title by Orson Scott Card. Set in Earths Future after an alien war, the military decides to begin to train young children in their advanced school in space to prepare for future invasions. The film is centered around this one particularly gifted child whom quickly is dubbed General. I am probably the biggest nerd you will ever meet so space stations + aliens = gleeful queensampson! This film looks helllaaa dope. I can wait to see it.

ADOBE MIGHTY PEN & NAPOLEON RULER

The Adobe Mighty Pen & Napoleon Ruler allows for illustrators; artists ; graphic designers and anyone else who is visually creative the ability to duplicate the pen to paper experience on a tablet. The Adobe Mighty Pen coupled with a software application creates a virtual sketchbook for the user. Featuring a button control base, the users index finger rest on top allowing them to pull up a menu to change details.

Surprisingly, the app that works with The Mighty Pen can tell the difference between the pen and your finger enabling you to illustrate with with one and erase the other. The Napoleon Ruler works in conjunction with The Mighty Pen recreating the traditional pencil and ruler duo – Release Date : Undetermined.

I figured some order and structure was in order for the blog. Summer is always rich with new items and rather than overload and confuse you all, I’ve decided to specilize each day. So, Welcome to the first instalment of #Wear It Wednesdays!

The Spring/Summer 2013 issue of GQ Style Italia features some amazing pieces modelled by Alexander Beck, Rafa Bodgar and Rodplphe Zanforlin. Clothes ranging in designers from Versace to Givenchy to Micheal Kors. I appreciate where fashion is going in 2013, and I am a huge fan of the clean stylish well dressed man who owns and iron.

This morning I awoke in a small pool of my own sweat underneath my large winter comforter and had the magnificent realization that nice weather is finally here, and here to stay. Naturally, because I am a huge technology obsessed gadget nerd I immediatley began perusing the internet for devices that can provide me with some sort of breeze. I was lucky enough to discover – The Bed Fan.

Fans are generally basic. Plug em in, and spend a couple of minutes repositioning it so the breeze can hit you perfectly. And thats cool and all.. But what about when you are laying down?
